This paper was my honors thesis on post-quantum cryptography benchmarking and migration strategy.
A practical systems-focused thesis that connects lattice-based cryptography to implementation and benchmarking concerns.
Approach
Benchmark lattice-based protocols, integrate them into existing stacks, and work out what an actual migration would look like rather than assuming one is straightforward.
Why it matters
The standards question is largely settled. The open one is cost: what replacing existing cryptography does to latency, payload size, and engineering time. That is the question this thesis tries to answer with numbers.
